BRITISH forces have slammed the Nigerian government for serious blunders that could wreck attempts to free the 200 schoolgirls kidnapped by terrorists.
They are annoyed that the existence of secret information detailing the possible whereabouts of the girls was made public.
“The good news for the parents is that we know where they are”
Air Marshal Alex Badeh
The country’s Chief of Defence Staff Air Marshal Alex Badeh told the state news agency: “The good news for the parents is that we know where they are.”
It is feared that could have led to the captors moving the girls to another location.
A British source said: “It is very frustrating. He was obviously briefed by our people.
“By announcing that he knows where they are, it may force Boko Haram to move the girls and he added that the Nigerians will not consider a military rescue because it is too dangerous.
