Netherlands are through to the quarter finals of the World Cup after sealing a dramatic 2-1 comeback win over Mexico in Fortaleza.
Giovani dos Santos opened the scoring for Mexico early in the second half with a stunning strike into the corner of Jasper Cillessen’s net.
But Wesley Sneijder equalised with a volley in dramatic fashion only few minutes from time.
Netherlands were then awarded a penalty in the 91st minute, which Klaas Jan Huntelaar duly dispatched.
