Ned Nwoko, alongside his wife Regina Daniels, has expressed support for her recent comments on the economic hardships faced by many Nigerians. Regina voiced her concerns about the nation’s struggles, and to many’s surprise, Nwoko backed her stance, praising her for her insight and bravery.
“I commend Gina’s wisdom and strong character in choosing, on her own, to empathize with and support Nigerians who are expressing their pent-up frustrations over the apparent hopelessness in the country.
“I must point out that the current economic and security challenges in Nigeria are the result of decades of poor governance. I urge everyone to keep the protests peaceful, as there can be no justification for further loss of life.
“In the coming days, I plan to speak and write about some practical, immediate solutions to the economic and security issues facing our nation. As a senator, my bills and motions have always focused on the people. This is truly my passion,” he wrote.
