Senator Ned Nwoko has confirmed that the viral medical reports claiming his wife, Regina Daniels, is struggling with serious substance abuse are authentic.
The reports, originally shared online, came from Serenity Royale Hospital in Abuja and stated that the actress had been diagnosed with a substance use disorder. According to the document, she was placed on a home-based detox programme on September 24, 2025, before her marriage issues became public.
The report, signed by the hospital’s management and Head of Clinical Services, Adekunle Adesina, quickly sparked widespread discussion.
However, the hospital later released a statement saying it had no part in circulating the document and tried to distance itself from the leak.
Despite the hospital’s disclaimer, Ned Nwoko through a statement from his media team on Saturday maintained that the documents are real.
He clarified that the hospital only denied leaking the report, not writing it.
He said, “A medical report concerning Regina Nwoko has been circulating online. The reports are genuine. The rehabilitation center only clarified that it did not publish or circulate the documents.
“They did not deny authoring the report; the concern is the leak itself. The public is encouraged to read the full report because they explained the situation clearly and directly.
“Both the toxicology report and the Serenity Hospital reports confirm the presence of the same substances, all at levels that pose serious health risks.
“Marijuana, cocaine, morphine, opiates at extremely elevated levels and alcohol at a critically dangerous level”.
