Nigerian singer, Naira Marley, has responded after being cleared by the court, along with his associate Sam Larry, of any involvement in Mohbad’s death.
It was reported that on February 25, 2025, a Lagos Magistrate Court in Yaba dismissed all allegations against Naira Marley, Sam Larry, and Prime Boy regarding the singer’s passing.
According to the court’s ruling, while the trio has been exonerated, the Director of Public Prosecutions (DPP) confirmed that legal action would be taken against Feyisayo Ogedengbe, the auxiliary nurse who treated Mohbad, as well as the late singer’s friend, Ayobami Sodiq.
Following the verdict, Naira Marley took to Twitter to share a verse from the Quran, which reads:
“And whoever puts all his trust in Allah, He will be enough for him. (65:3).”
