Rapper Afeez Fashola, popularly known as Naira Marley, has taken legal action against actress Iyabo Ojo, demanding a public apology and filing a N500 million lawsuit through Olalekan Ojo (SAN) & Co. Naira Marley alleges that Iyabo’s Instagram account disseminated false and harmful content. The letter claims that Iyabo accused Naira Marley of having both spiritual and physical connections with the late musician Ilerioluwa Aloba, aka Mohbad, in a September 2023 Instagram post, coinciding with Mohbad’s death. The lawyer has given Iyabo a seven-day ultimatum to issue an apology on her official Instagram account and in a national daily. Failure to comply may result in a lawsuit seeking N500 million in damages.
