Renowned rapper Naira Marley and socialite Sam Larry have allegedly secured their release on bail following an extended period of detention due to their suspected connection to the demise of Mohbad.
According to online sources, both individuals are required to provide three sureties each and a sum of 20 million naira as part of the conditions for their bail.
The court has additionally mandated them to surrender their foreign passports and appear weekly at the State Criminal Investigation Department (CID) as an extra measure of their bail conditions.
Moreover, the presiding magistrate issued a strong warning, making it clear that any attempt to contact her would be documented and might even be disclosed during public court sessions.
It’s worth noting that Naira Marley and Sam Larry were apprehended upon their return to the country after being linked to the late singer Mohbad’s demise. The speculation surrounding Sam Larry’s alleged involvement in Mohbad’s death was heightened by a video showing him attempting to assault Mohbad while he was on set.
