Basketmouth, a Nigerian comedian, has responded to those who claim his divorce from his wife, Elsie, was a joke.
In a recent interview, the controversial comedian stated that he is currently separated from his wife. He, however, refused to go into further detail about the divorce.
In his words:
“I am separated right now. People thought it was a joke but it wasn’t. People said is that a way of promoting a show and I’m like you definitely do not know my design.“I do not bring my private matter on a public space. But it was something I needed to do for reasons best known to me. And yes. We were cool. Everything is fine. We completed 12 years.”
