Renowned Nigerian artist, Davido, has shared that his father’s immense wealth once made him feel financially inadequate.
The singer revealed this during a recent interview in Paris.
NAIJALOG recalls that Davido attended Amiri’s Fall/Winter show at Paris Fashion Week 2025, held at Palais de Tokyo, alongside fellow artist Omah Lay.
In a viral interview clip making rounds on social media, Davido was asked if anyone had ever made him feel broke, despite his own wealth.
Interviewer: “Has anyone ever made you feel broke in your life?”
Davido: “Yeah, my dad.”
This comment comes months after Davido revealed that it took him years to fully realize just how wealthy his father is.
As one of Nigeria’s richest musicians, Davido’s remarks continue to generate buzz.
