Two contestants were evicted from the ongoing Project Fame reality TV show last weekend. The two contestants, Joe and Kamar are the first to be eliminated in the fourth season of the show.
The first eviction show was tension-packed, and you could almost see the nerves on the faces of the six contestants, wondering what their fate would be?
Aziga opened the drama-ladened show with a vastly improved performance of Marvin Gaye’s ‘Let’s get it on’. His emotions were more on point this time, his vocal delivery too did not go unnoticed and Kwame could not resist dropping some rhymes himself like ‘Aziga my nigga, probation is the trigger’, when commenting on the performance.
Zaliha delivery was also seemed an improvement of her last performance, but the judges felt otherwise, and noted that even through her mic was a little high for her she still did not pull though with Whitney Houston’s ‘I look to you’. The faculty on the other hand disagreed and felt it was a better performance.
Kamar did not impress the judges at all with his choice of playing the guitar while singing Robin Thicke’s ‘Lost Without you’. They felt the guitar distracted him from singing , but the faculty begged to differ and felt his performance was a lot better than last weekend’s. So much tension in the house…
Emmaneul on the other hand got a standing ovation from everyone after his classic performance of ‘Stand by me’ by Ben E. King. The judges appreciated the faculty for a job well done and especially Mummy J for working on his pronunciation. She then advised him to always sing with ease before thanking him for a lovely performance.
Imagine Kwame saying he thought he was by the wailing wall in Israel while Joe was performing ‘Another Day’ by Lemar. He did not really come across so well to everyone but the faculty promised to work on it if he makes it back to the Academy. Ethel wrapped up the show with an easy rendition of Vanessa Williams’ ‘You are everything’. She got everyone cheering after this performance and judges could not help but tell everyone to give her another round of applause.
Finally, after the week-long tension and canvassing for votes, Joe Benjamin with lots of drama pulled out the name of the contestant saved by viewers from across West Africa…….
It was Ethel!!!
The judges after a long deliberation finally agreed to save – Aziga!!! And boy was he surprised!!
The faculty was left with the tough decision of who should be saved. Wondering perhaps who has the most potential? And in the end saved a very relieved Emmanuel.

That left Zaliha, Joe and kamar. All of them pensively looking at their friends wondering who would save them???
Zaliha heaved a sigh of relief when the first few votes where for her, but with 8 other votes to come, would she be saved?
Votes swung to kamar and then Joe but the last two went to Zaliha.
