Today, the late iconic Nollywood actor, John Okafor, also known as Mr Ibu, is being laid to rest in his hometown. Mr Ibu passed away earlier this year after battling health issues. The news of his passing was confirmed by Emeka Rollas, the president of the Actors Guild of Nigeria, back in March. Mr Ibu was well-known for his comedic talent and unforgettable roles. On Wednesday night, a tribute evening was held in his honor, bringing together fellow actors and fans. Today’s burial ceremony in Enugu State saw an outpouring of grief, as attendees reflected on Mr Ibu’s legacy and the impact he had on the industry and the lives of those who knew him.
