MR GAY UK CROWNED AS “MR GAY WORLD”

Mr Gay UK, Stuart Hatton was named Mr Gay World after the competition took place in Italy over the weekend in Italy.

Stuart Hatton, a dance teacher from South Shields, England had previously won the domestic competition in England and was also named second runner up at Mr Gay Europe, and was then invited to enter the global competition.

The 28 year old is the first UK contestant to win the title, which he beat 25 other contestants from various countries from the world to lift.

Apart from the modelling challenges, participants were tested on global LGBT (Lesbian, Gay, BiSexual and Transgender) right issues.

He automatically qualifies as an advocate for gay rights, Harton will launch an anti-bullying campaign called ”So What?” and will tour countries including America, Australia and South Africa.

‘I am now able to use my voice to help those in countries around the world who have no voice or equality rights,” he said. “We are all human, and all gay people around the world deserve the same human rights. This is just the beginning,’ he said.
