The First Lady, Aisha Buhari, has endorsed and confirmed the Governor of Kaduna State, Mallam Nasir El-claims Rufai’s that some elements at the State House are working against Bola Tinubu’s presidential bid.
Tinubu, the flagbearer of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC), has repeatedly expressed his displeasure with the numerous attacks on him.
During a live telecast on Wednesday, February 1, Governor El-Rufai accused those who were still upset about their loss to the former Lagos state governor of being behind the attacks.
According to The Nation newspaper, the First Lady, who is a staunch supporter of Tinubu, uploaded a video of El-Rufai making his allegation on live television.
“#longlivethefederalrepublicofnigeria,” the First Lady captioned her post.
Despite the odds, many political pundits and supporters believe Tinubu will win the presidential election, which is only four weeks away, as scheduled by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC).
Meanwhile, Tinubu will face stiff competition from top opponents such as Atiku Abubakar of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and the revitalized Peter Obi of the Labour Party.
And it will go down in Nigerian pre-election history as a three-horse race, with three candidates going head-to-head while keeping electorates and other key stakeholders in complete suspense and uncertainty.
