Nollywood actress Funke Akindele and Kenny Almaroof Oloyede have exchanged vows at their traditional wedding ceremony taking place today, Saturday, May 26, 2012 at The Haven event centre.
The ceremony kicked off at around 12 noon with the bride and groom arriving 30 minutes apart. The couple’s parents are both in attendance as well as close friends and family members.
The venue of the party was changed from the All Season Plaza Ikeja to The Haven event centre at the last minute.
TV presenter Foluke Ogunjimi of Sokoyokoto fame served as officiating personnel for the traditional engagement
A quick christian ceremony was officiated by Rev. M.O Ogunsoji. The reception is being anchored by popular comedian-host Gbenga Adeyinka.
Celebs who have made it down to The Haven include eLDee, Femi Brainard, Ireti Osayemi, Genevieve Nnaji and a handful of other Nollywood actors.
