Costa Titch, a well-known South African rapper, died at the age of 27 after collapsing on stage while performing one of his hit songs.
According to reports, the artist known for his hit song “Big Flexa” had a seizure while performing at the Ultra music festival on March 11th, Saturday, at the Expo Centre in Nasrec, Johannesburg.
A fan-captured video making the rounds on the internet space showed the moment Costa Titch fell on stage, after which he was pulled up and continued performing.
However, he collapsed for the second time, which was the last time fans saw him alive after the show.
Costa Titch’s death was confirmed on Twitter shortly before midnight by Phil Mphela, an entertainer, and was met with a barrage of negative reactions from industry colleagues.
His death occurred a month after the death of his close friend, AKA, who was shot dead on his birthday.
