Following the 2025 success of Labake Olododo, filmmaker and actress Iyabo Ojo is set to storm the cinemas again with a new international production titled The Return of Arinzo.
A Star-Studded Reveal
On Monday, January 19, the actress unveiled the cast list in a video clip that has generated significant buzz online. The lineup features heavyweights of the industry, including Funke Akindele, Kanayo O. Kanayo, Mercy Aigbe, Bimbo Akintola, Uzor Arukwe, Scarlet Gomez, and Muka Ray. Her daughter, Priscilla Ojo, is also set to feature.
Surprise Debuts
The biggest talking point of the reveal is the inclusion of Wunmi, the widow of late singer Mohbad, and Tanzanian music star Juma Jux, who is described in the report as Iyabo Ojo’s son-in-law. This project will mark the acting debut for both Wunmi and Jux.
International Collaboration
Reports indicate that The Return of Arinzo is a massive collaborative effort spanning Nigeria, Ghana, and Tanzania. The production crew includes nightlife mogul Soso Soberekon and Abazee Productions alongside Iyabo Ojo herself.
