Sophia Momodu has publicly reacted following the outcome of her custody dispute with Davido, as discussions around the situation continue online.
The brand influencer and the singer had previously been involved in a legal disagreement concerning the custody of their daughter, Imade Adeleke. The situation later changed after the music star announced he had withdrawn from the case and explained why he made the decision.
In a post that quickly circulated on social media, Sophia was seen dancing happily while sharing a Bible verse, which many interpreted as a sign of relief or victory.
According to her, she shares a covenant with God. She added that God has made promises to her which have repeatedly come to pass. She also used the hashtag “Trust God Always” and highlighted the word “Happiness” to reflect her emotional state.
In the same post, she quoted Psalm 68:5, which states: “A father of the fatherless, and a judge of the widows, is God in his holy habitation.”
Her reaction sparked divided opinions among fans online. Some defended her, stating she has the right to express herself and stand by her beliefs. Others, however, argued that the singer should have equal access to their daughter.
