On Thursday, Mercy denied involvement in the video, emphasizing that she doesn’t wear long nails, socks, or piercings and does not engage in such behavior. She apologized to those disappointed by her refusal to fit their assumptions.
Following Mercy’s denial, the woman in the video contacted her, expressing anger and feeling belittled by Mercy’s comments about the socks, questioning if Mercy thought she was superior.
“I used to think you had a brain. You are so unintelligent and razz wtf. What do you mean you don’t wear such socks? Do you think that’s regular? Do you know how much that costs? There are better ways to address issues like that without acting like you’re better smh,” the woman wrote.
