Mercy Eke, a former Big Brother Naija reality star, found herself in controversy when she was spotted on Twitter where her fans were attacking other contestants. She made headlines when she voiced her frustration about having only fan support during the BBNaija All Stars program. During an interview with media personality Hero Daniels, she expressed her disdain for her own heart, suggesting that despite two previous winners in the All Stars show, her victory seemed to be viewed negatively. After the interview went viral, Mercy’s fans organized a Twitter campaign to criticize and shame several other housemates, including Alex Unusual, Angel Smith, Nengi, Ike Onyema, Soma, Venita, and Adekunle. Surprisingly, Mercy Eke joined her supporters on Twitter while this was happening but did not intervene to stop their actions. Many people were surprised by her involvement in the situation.
