Nollywood actress Mercy Aigbe was visibly emotional on Sunday night, May 17th, after receiving a touching surprise from producer Efe Irele during the premiere of their new film, My Mother Is A Witch.
Mercy, who stars in the much-talked-about movie, was taken by surprise when Efe presented her with a lovely bouquet right after the screening.
She shared the heartwarming moment through several video clips on her social media, calling it the most memorable part of the night.
“Tonight’s highlight for me was receiving flowers from my producer right after the premiere. That’s how you know you’ve done something right,” Mercy captioned the post.
She went on to express her sincere appreciation to Efe Irele for her dedication and creative vision in bringing the project to life, and for the unexpected but thoughtful gesture.
“@efeirele, thank you for this beautiful moment! I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again—you did something amazing with My Mother Is A Witch. Huge shout-out to our brilliant director and writer @niyi_akinmolayan. You’re incredible! I’m truly grateful to have been part of this project,” she added.
