Reverend Father Ejike Mbaka, spiritual director of the Adoration Ministry Enugu Nigeria (AMEN), has a message for Nigerians who are leaving the country for a better life abroad.
During a recent sermon in Enugu, Mbaka urged Nigerian doctors seeking greener pastures outside the country’s borders to return because, according to him, Nigeria will be great again.
Mbaka bemoaned the country’s brain drain in the health sector, particularly in 2022.
In his sermon to his congregation, the divisive cleric declared:
“If all of you (addressing the congregants) will go out, how many will remain?”
“It’s going to be well. One day, Nigeria is going to be well (better). One day the foreigners you have been running to their countries will begin to run to Nigeria. One day our youths will begin to say the Lord is good.”
On Wednesday morning, Father Ejike Mbaka, Spiritual Director of the Adoration Ministry Enugu, Nigeria (AMEN), returned to the Adoration ground in Enugu state.
Hundreds of Mbaka’s supporters marched down the street to greet his return to Adoration.
Mbaka’s supporters marched alongside the vehicle transporting him to the Adoration Ground in Umuchigbo Nike, causing major traffic congestion on the Old Emene-Abakaliki road.
The jubilant adorers, as his supporters were affectionately known, were seen very excited, with some dancing along the road.
