Mario Balotelli’s name can’t help but be in the headlines these days, but the latest news out of Italy involving theManchester City striker has nothing to do with him directly. Reports in the Italian and Nigerian press have Balotelli’s sultry sister, Barwuah Abigail, pregnant by former Balotelli teammate and current Levante striker Obafemi Martins.
The two strikers played together at Inter Milan in the past and are reportedly friends but the Nigerian Martins apparently got more than friendly with Abigail as she told Italian press that she is pregnant.
It is unclear how Balotelli feels about the coupling with some reports saying he disapproves while others say he is happy about the pending birth.
What is clear is that Balotelli is no stranger to controversial pregnancies as his former girlfriend Italian modelRaffaella Fico gave birth to daughter Pia late last year after the couple had split.
Balotelli initially questioned the paternity and according to Fico has not made any effort to be in the child’s life so far.
