Manchester United have officially announced updated squad numbers for several players ahead of the upcoming 2025/26 Premier League season.
In a statement published on the club’s website, it was revealed that Academy graduates Tyler Fredricson and Chido Obi will don new shirt numbers following their progress within the team.
Fredricson, a promising 20-year-old defender who made his Premier League debut against Wolves in April and started the away clash with Brentford, will switch from No. 55 to No. 33 for the new campaign.
Meanwhile, 17-year-old Chido Obi, who joined United from Arsenal’s Academy last November, will now wear the No. 32 shirt, a step up from the No. 56 he was previously assigned.
These changes come alongside other recent updates, including Diogo Dalot switching to the No. 2 shirt, and new signing Matheus Cunha taking the iconic No. 10 jersey.
Additional squad number allocations include Shea Lacey (No. 61), Bendito Mantato (No. 70), and Reece Munro (No. 65) as the club continues to integrate its emerging talents into the first-team setup.
