Manchester United have reportedly struck a verbal agreement with Turkish club Trabzonspor over a loan move for goalkeeper Andre Onana.
The deal, however, depends on the final decision of the Cameroon international himself.
So far this season, Onana has only made one appearance in United’s Carabao Cup second-round defeat to Grimsby Town with manager Ruben Amorim opting for Altay Bayindir as his first-choice keeper in the Premier League.
United also strengthened their goalkeeping options this summer by signing Senne Lammens from Royal Antwerp in an £18 million deal.
Transfer insider Fabrizio Romano confirmed the update on X, writing:
“Trabzonspor reach verbal agreement with Manchester United to sign André Onana on loan. Club-to-club verbal agreement in place — final decision now rests with the player.”
