A young man identified as Than God Emmanuel has been arrested by the Niger State Police Command for allegedly stabbing his colleague Tita Komla, to death.
Reports have it that the man Emmanuel was nabbed after he stabbed Tita with a dagger before proceeding to steal his N47, 000 and dumping his body in drainage.
Speaking to newsmen, Emmanuel said;
“I killed him so that nobody would know that I stole his N47,000. I used a digger to inflict injuries on his head and he died instantly. I never suspected that the police would identify me as the one who killed him,” he said.
Spokesperson of the Niger state police command, Muhammad Abubakar, confirming the incident said the suspect will be charged to court.
