Ifeanyi Okorie, 25, has become a guest of the Ebonyi State Police Command for allegedly killing his uncle with a machete.
According to police sources, Okorie, last Thursday, woke up from sleep, grabbed a machete and killed his 65 year old uncle, Uwajie Obasi.
Sylvester Igbo, the state’s police spokesperson, said the suspect had during interrogation confessed to have committed the crime.
“When he was asked why he killed his uncle, he said that he had a dream and saw his uncle chasing him with a machete trying to kill him,so when he woke up, he took a machete and killed his uncle before he could actualise his dream,” he said.
The suspect, according to Igbo, will soon be charged to court after investigation into the matter has been concluded.
