Samson Machaya (60) had a misunderstanding with his wife over a case of rape of which Machaya was the accused.

Machaya was refusing to go to the court saying that he did not want to go to jail for something he did not do. Therefore a misunderstanding arose and Machaya ran away from home on October 1 at around 6PM and never returned.

Insp Goko said a search party found Machaya’s body hanging from a tree in a nearby bush on Monday.
