There was panic at the John F. Kennedy Airport in New York yesterday when a man traveling from Nigeria died on board an airplane.
The 63-year-old victim, said to be a US citizen, reportedly died at about 5:45 a.m, an hour before the plane landed, NY Daily News reports.
The man was said to have complained of chest pains and was vomiting before he died of an apparent heart attack.
Officials of the Centers for Disease Control and Health Department inspected the plane and reportedly kept the passengers on board for about 45 minutes before they eventually determined that the victim didn’t die of Ebola.
