The Police in Katsina State has arrested a man, identified as Inusa Aliyu, from Rafin-Makadi in Rimi Local Government Area of the state, for allegedly defiling his 14-year-old daughter.
The 30 years old suspect confessed that he was acting under the instructions of a herbalist who told him to sleep with his daughter in order to get wealthy.
The state police spokesperson, Gambo Isa, disclosed that Inusa was arrested after his wife, Mariya, caught him in the act of defiling their teenage daughter. The victim had always told her mother of her father’s illicit activities.
The police spokesperson said;
“The daughter informed the mother of the sexual affairs with her father, but she could not believe until she caught him having sex with their daughter. She reported the case to the police headquarters in Rimi Local Government Area and the man was arrested. The girl was rushed to the General Hospital in Rimi for medical attention and the case has been transferred to the Criminal Investigation Department for further investigation.”
