A 28-year-old man Kelcey Nicholas and his 21-year-old step-daughter Lataura Jarrett have been arrested and charged with inc*st in West Virginia, even though they are not related by blood and are both over the age of consent.
Nicholas married Jarrett’s mother five years ago and authorities allege that she calls him ‘father’

According to state law, a daughter is the natural daughter of a person’s husband or wife — and Nicholas is still married to Jarrett’s mother, Hopkins said.
The two were charged with seven counts of inc*st, which under West Virginia law carried a penalty of anywhere between five and fifteen years in prison.
