Nigerian rapper Keshinro Ololade, better known as Lil Kesh, has broken his silence after surviving an alleged robbery attempt in Lagos.
The incident happened on Wednesday when the artist was reportedly attacked by unidentified assailants who tried to snatch his jewellery. In the process, Lil Kesh sustained stab wounds to his neck and ear, leaving him badly injured.
Graphic photos of the aftermath quickly spread across social media, prompting an outpour of concern from fans. He was rushed to the hospital, where doctors treated and stitched his injuries.
Addressing the incident on his Instagram story, the 30-year-old rapper referred to it as a “curveball” from life but expressed deep gratitude for being alive.
“Life threw me a curveball, but I’m safe, healing, and blessed to be here. Grateful for the love, support and prayers,” he shared.
His message has since reassured worried fans, who had flooded social media with prayers and words of encouragement.
