Leicester City will be satisfied with how quickly they’ve wrapped up their UEFA Champions League qualification to the round of 16. They look to have taken their focus off the Premier League and it remains to be seen if they can continue their fairytale run in Europe.
Arsenal’s 2-2 draw with PSG on Wednesday night also means that the Gunners are through to the next round with a match to spare. Manchester City also qualified thanks to a 1-1 draw with Borussia Monchengladbach and Barcelona’s thrashing Celtic in the other match of the group.
Atletico remains the only team to have won all their group games so far and will be pleased that they will finish top of the group. Borrusia Dortmund’s 8-4 thriller with Legia Warsaw also means they will top the group.
Group B remains the closest group, with Benfica and Napoli on 8 points while Besiktas have 7 points. With everything still to play for, only Dynamo Kyiv are a lost cause in the group.
