The Principal of the Holy Ghost College, Owerri, Cyprian Oguh, recently escaped assassination by the whiskers when suspected cultists allegedly sneaked into the college compound in the middle of the night, made straight to his bedroom and began a shooting spree.
The heavy shooting shattered all the interior decorations of the room with window louvers reduced to rubbles.
The travail of the priest came barely two days after a cult group known as ‘Black Axe Confraternity’ (AYE) wrote a letter to him, threatening to deal with him if he failed to vacate office before the year runs out.
Part of the letter dated August 16, with the motto, ‘Forgiveness is Sin,’ reads: “By this letter you have been warned again to leave Holy Ghost College, Owerri, before the end of this year.”
“You have continued to expel our members from the school hence we have been mandated to capture Holy Ghost College, Owerri. So either leave dead or alive because we will stop at nothing to make sure you leave.”
