Controversial show promoter Sam Larry has taken a jab at Nollywood actress Iyabo Ojo after she turned off the comments on her Instagram post. This move came shortly after she faced backlash tied to the ongoing controversy over the death of late singer Mohbad.
Sam Larry’s reaction follows fresh claims by activist Verydarkman, who accused Iyabo Ojo of being part of a WhatsApp group made up of celebrities allegedly plotting to derail his push for justice for Mohbad. He also alleged that the group was trying to get him imprisoned.
Iyabo Ojo has since denied the allegations, calling them unfounded and malicious. However, after posting her response, she disabled comments on the post — a move many interpreted as her attempt to silence criticism. Not long after, she deleted the post entirely.
Taking advantage of the moment, Sam Larry — who has also been at the center of accusations related to Mohbad’s death — threw shade at Iyabo via a sarcastic social media post.
“Small thing una dey off comment, me way dem say I kill Diego Jota, kill Buhari, I no off comment. Wontu sope mo pa TV 😂😂😂. Please on comment make lovely Nigerians greet you o,” he wrote
