A Nigerian woman took to social media to report an unsettling experience involving a ride-hailing driver from inDrive. She explained that she had booked a ride for ₦2,000, but the driver attempted to increase the fare to ₦3,000. After she declined and cancelled the trip, the driver began to harass her persistently.
He reportedly called her multiple times using different phone numbers. Even after blocking him on WhatsApp for sending inappropriate messages, he continued contacting her through a hidden number. During one of the calls she answered, he allegedly made disturbing and sexually explicit comments.
Following her public complaint, the inDrive support team responded and confirmed that the driver has been blocked from the platform.
