We all love falsies, it adds more beauty to our makeup and gives us that dazzling look when applied the right way but do you know there are some mistakes you make while applying those favourite eye lashes of yours?
Here are some common mistakes you could be making while applying falsies and how to correct these mistakes.
Not cutting your falsies to your eye’s size: This is known as the bird flap effect and its very common among ladies that use eye lashes these days. When you don’t cut your falsies to your eye size it can get unglued at the corner and appear to be flapping and which is not an impressive sight. To avoid this bird flap effect, you must adjust falsies according to your eyes, before you glue your falsies measure it with your eyes first to get the right measurement then clip off the excess., add your glue and glue to your eyes. Sometimes, when not adjusted properly, the lashes can poke your eye corners which can cause irritation and discomfort.
Applying black glue on your bare lids: This is one of the major sins committed while applying falsies. You should not apply a black glue on any day you decide not to use black liner or decide not to wear any liner at all. And, as a beginner should never even dare to do that or else you might end up with red eyes and spoilt makeup. Use white glue which dries transparent.
Not applying falsies close to your lash line: This is one of the major falsies mistakes that is been committed by both beginners and experts every now and then. and it is very common when you are in a hurry. To get your falsies close to your lash line, place them on top of your lashes and press lightly with your a tweezers, refrain from using your fingers.
Merging your real and false lashes with mascara: This will ruin and shorten the life of your falsies and it will also make it very difficult to take off your falsies without ripping them out or pulling your real lashes out. Instead of merging your lashes and falsies with mascara, use an eyelash curler to curl your real lashes and falsies together, and then press them together.
Throwing away your lashes after first use or using them a million times: Human hair falsies should last you for like 5 to 6 uses and synthetic ones lesser than that. Use them less and waste your money, use the more and end up looking tacky. Throw your falsies out when they start to look ragged or rip off from the middle.
Using your fingers instead of applicator: Using your fingers can get tricky and sometimes you can end up ruining your eye shadows with the glue on your lashes. ALWAYS use the applicator to make the falsies sit on your lash line perfectly.
