Dami Marshall, daughter of Fuji icon King Wasiu Ayinde Marshall, widely known as KWAM 1 or K1 De Ultimate, has addressed and dismissed rumors suggesting she is romantically involved with Afrobeats star Asake.
The speculation started after Dami posted a photo taken with Asake at an event, accompanied by the caption “Mr Money and Mrs Money.” The post quickly triggered relationship rumors across social media platforms.
Responding to the claims, Dami explained that there was no romantic relationship between her and the singer. She clarified that the photo was taken the first time she met him.
She also cautioned the public against believing every story published by blogs, noting that some platforms push unverified narratives to attract attention and engagement.
She said:
“Guys, that was my first time meeting him [Asake], so I took a picture. Do not believe blogs, they can do anything for traffic,”
The statement appears to have put an end to the dating rumors circulating online.
Asake, on the other hand, has not been publicly linked to any relationship since reports of his split from his former Gambian partner, Madame Mystique, in 2024.
