Renowned Nigerian Fuji legend, Wasiu Ayinde, popularly known as Kwam 1, has firmly denied rumors that he has reconciled with his former wife, Fathia Titi Marshall, declaring that she is no longer a part of his life.
Addressing the speculations surrounding his marriage to Aderopo Emmanuella, which gained traction shortly after the recent Sallah festivities, Kwam 1 clarified that there is no truth to claims suggesting Titi’s return caused Emmanuella to leave their home.
In an exclusive interview with journalist Stella Dimoko-Korkus, the 68-year-old singer dismissed the reports, stating categorically that there has been no reunion with Titi Marshall.
Speaking on his current relationship with Emmanuella, he said, “We’re not estranged. There’s no issue between us. Jealousy is natural in women, but the real problem in any relationship is about the rules you try to set.”
He continued, “Titi Marshall is gone for good. But I won’t ignore the three children we had together — my responsibility to them remains.”
Kwam 1 also addressed Emmanuella’s behavior, attributing their recent tension to her online activities. “I advised her to stay off social media and focus on her business, but it seems that didn’t sit well with her. She has every right to feel how she feels,” he said.
“Emmanuella is not getting younger. She has two children in university, and the third is almost there. These are the real matters to focus on — not social media drama. I have no intention of marrying anyone else. Emmanuella is my only wife,” he affirmed.
According to NAIJALOG, Kwam 1 married Titi Marshall in 2018 and later tied the knot with Emmanuella in 2021.
