Nigerian actor Kunle Afod has reflected on the invaluable lessons he has learned during his 38-year career in the movie industry.
In an interview with the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) in Lagos, the 51-year-old actor shared insights about relationships, emphasizing that “there are no permanent friends or enemies in life.”
Afod explained that life experiences have taught him that a friend could become a source of betrayal, while someone considered an enemy might ultimately contribute to one’s success.
He stated:
“A person you regard as a friend can turn into a traitor, while someone you see as an enemy may become instrumental to your success.I’ve learned to approach life with a liberal mindset, understanding that there are no permanent allies or adversaries.
Since starting my acting career in 1986, I’ve realized that it’s essential to remain open-minded. The friend you trust today could harm you, and the enemy you fear might be the one to uplift you.”
Afod’s perspective offers a profound reminder of the complexities of human relationships and the importance of staying adaptable.
