A video was released showing the singer in pain as she recounted the event and explained what had occurred during the violent attack. During a live stream, the assailant, who was armed with a knife and acid, approached her as soon as she opened her door to step outside.
Throughout the video, the singer continued to plead, questioning the attacker’s motives and whether she intended to kill her. Korra Obidi also shared a video of the attack, stating that she was currently on her way to the hospital in an ambulance. The assault served as a wake-up call for her, as she had previously experienced a lot of hate, but this time it was a physical attack.
