Nigerian comedian Klintoncod has cast doubt on celebrity barman Cubana Chief Priest’s explanation for missing Davido’s recent wedding in Miami, hinting that the real reason for his absence might be different from what was publicly stated.

Chief Priest had earlier expressed his disappointment over being unable to attend, pleading with the US government to grant him a visa and assuring fans that “delay is not denial.”

However, in a post on X (formerly Twitter), Klintoncod questioned the claim, noting that Davido’s aide, Israel DMW who “isn’t fluent in English” managed to travel to Miami. He wondered how a billionaire like Chief Priest could face visa challenges while his wife and children reportedly have US access.

Quoting his disbelief, Klintoncod wrote:
“You see that Chief Priest story of being denied a US visa, I also doubt that story sha, Israel wey no sabi speak English like that enter Miami, na Billionaire Chief Priest dem come deny visa but wife and kids get, baba know why him no wan touch US soil sha.”

When a social media user defended Chief Priest by recalling a past interview where he claimed he was denied a visa years ago when he “was still a nobody” and applied through an agent, Klintoncod remained unconvinced, replying, “Dead talk still!!”
