After conquering the world of reality television and forayed into films, music and sex tapes, Kim Kardashian is now setting her sights on political office.The 31-year-old star reality star has told her sister Khloe that she wants to run for mayor of Glendale, a Los Angeles county of 190,000.
Kim made the revelation in an unaired episode of her sister’s reality show Khloe & Lamar, saying that she was planning to run in five years and her friend would manage the campaign.And it seems the prospective politician has done her homework on the criteria for standing for public office
“You have to have a full residency in Glendale,” Kim tells Khloe in the video, published by the Long Island Press
“Noel is going to head my campaign but it’s going to be in like five years. So I have to buy a house there, you have to have residency there.”
Kim, who has Armenian roots, added that she chose Glendale because “it’s like Armenian town”.
The idea has been met with mockery on TwitterOne person tweeted “There goes my hometown” while another posted “What’s next, Madonna for U.S. Senate in 2016?”
