Benjamin Best Nnanyereugo, better known as “Killaboi,” has been officially identified by the Lagos State Police Command after being suspected of brutally killing his 21-year-old girlfriend, Augusta Onuwabhagbe Osedion, in his Oral Estate, Ajah home on July 13, 2023.
The suspect, a 26-year-old Abia State native, is about 5’9″ tall, has a dark complexion, and speaks English, Igbo, and Pidgin English with ease.
SP The police’s dedication to solving the case was reaffirmed by Benjamin Hundeyin, the Lagos State Command’s police public relations officer, who said, “We are committed to ensuring justice is served in this unfortunate occurrence. The Lagos State Police Command will not stop till the suspect is located. We kindly request help from the public in the form of any information that can lead to his capture.

When Nnanyereugo admitted to stabbing Osedion after a furious altercation on his Instagram profile, @Killaboigram_, the unfortunate episode came to light. After the victim went missing and her lifeless body was found in his home in Oral Estate in the Ikota region of Lagos State, he admitted to the murder.

Nnanyereugo is still at large despite this declaration, much to the dismay of Osedion’s distraught mother, Onwabhagbe Cordelia. She has advocated for justice for her daughter, expressing her outrage at the government’ protracted inaction.
Through his Instagram stories, Nnanyereugo charged Osedion’s mother with being involved in her daughter’s death. He accused her of being involved and held her accountable for the issues in his friendship with the deceased. He asserted that she tried to implicate him in horrible crimes that he had not committed, such as claims of ritualistic mutilation.
