Bukunmi Adeaga Ilori, also known as Kiekie, a prominent skit creator and brand influencer, has spoken out about her decision to keep her spouse off her social media platforms.
Despite the uncertainty surrounding her marriage, Kiekie stated that her decision was not motivated by a desire to conceal her husband, but rather by the fact that her Instagram page is mostly used for professional purposes.
Kiekie stated in an interview with media personality Chude Jideonwo that her spouse is not involved in her business and does not receive a salary from her.
As a result, she finds no reason to feature him on her social media sites, which she views as platforms for promoting her professional pursuits.
The actress and sketch creator explained that she mainly posted about her spouse during her daughter’s pregnancy since he played an important role in that journey.
She explained;
“I’m pregnant and I wanted to share it…It was a collaboration, and he’s alive, and we’re not fighting, so why not.”
When questioned about her husband’s birthdays, Kiekie stated that she does not see the need in posting about him on such occasions because he is not even on Instagram.
She stated that because he is physically present in her life, she feels it more important to wish him privately.
Kiekie also stated that the next time she will post images of her spouse is when they have another child.
She joked that it would be a bit before her fans saw him again, hinting that such updates would be rare.
