President Muhammadu Buhari has expressed his outrage over the alleged kidnapping of five newborn babies in Anambra State.
Buhari directed security agents to investigate the abduction of the babies as well as the rising crime rate in the area as soon as possible.
The alleged kidnapping took place at Stanley Hospital in the state of Nkpologwu. The attackers grabbed the babies and flew away.
Buhari condemned the incident and stated that “this case must be solved immediately.”
According to Garba Shehu, Buhari’s spokesman, the president “directed that security at hospitals be fullproof so that attacks of this nature do not happen again.”
