Kidnappers who seized Dayo Adeneye’s father-in-law, less than an hour ago are making a demand running into millions of ransom as ransom for the elderly man kidnapped a while ago.
In a message sent out by Caroline Adeneye’s publicist, Sunday Adebayo and obtained by an entertainment firm reads: ‘74 year-old Chief Nigbenebor was kidnapped in Benin, and according to his daughter, Caroline Adeneye, the kidnappers are asking for 40 million naira and have reduced it t0 10 million.’
This unpleasant development is coming barely two months after Dayo Adeneye floated a hotel in Lagos, an investment running into 150 million naira.
The Kenny Ogungbe partner and his wife could not immediately be reached for comments.
