The teenage music duo popularly known as the DNA Twins, Clint and Blair have been confirmed kidnapped by unknown gunmen.

The twins were kidnapped on Sunday, April 25, on their way from Abuja to Lagos after the bus they were in was ambushed, attacked and robbed by gun welding men.

According to an eyewitness at the scene of the kidnap, the driver of the bus which is owned by Ekesons Transport Company was shot in the eye during the robbery operation.

While the other passengers were robbed, only the twins were kidnapped by the gunmen.

The kidnapping of the budding music stars was initially denied because the kidnappers warned the twins’ mother against making the news public.

The kidnappers had initially requested for N6 million to be paid before Monday, April 25 but had jacked up the ransom fee following the inability of the twins’ mother to raise the said funds.

The transport company, Ekesons however, has denied reports of the kidnapping stating that all their passengers returned safely to Lagos from Abuja.

The kidnap has also been reported to the police for necessary action.
