Makhosazane Twala, better known as Khosi, won the first season of Big Brother Titans but recently admitted that she has not yet gotten her award.
The journalist-turned-reality TV celebrity said this in a recent interview with TV3 Ghana.
Khosi acknowledged her amazement at winning and claimed that, even months after the program, she and the other housemates still hadn’t gotten their awards and prizes, including her $100,000 cash prize from the Big Brother Titans show’s producers.
Khosi reflected on her triumph and said it still seems surreal and makes her shiver every time she sees the broadcast.
She knows she won’t get the benefits, but she’s sure there must be a good explanation.
“My victory at the Big Brother Titans show really surprised me, and whenever I watch it, it feels unreal and gives me goosebumps… My fellow housemates and I have not been paid our rewards, and I am sure it’s for a good cause,“
she said in part.
It is noteworthy that Khosi, a 25-year-old South African journalist, was declared the show’s victor during the grand finale on April 2. She defeated Nigerian Kanaga Jr. to win the competition and the $100,000 cash prize.
Khosi and the other housemates are waiting for more information from the show’s producers about the unclaimed incentives due to the delay in getting the prize.
