Controversial Nigerian journalist Kemi Olunloyo has once again stirred controversy by repeating allegations that Nollywood actress Iyabo Ojo once worked as a porn star in the Benin Republic before joining the mainstream film industry.
In a recent Facebook post, Olunloyo referenced her earlier 2024 accusation, insisting that Iyabo had a hidden history in the adult film world, which she allegedly tried to erase to maintain a “clean” public image.
“A year ago, nobody believed me. Iyabo Ojo has been pushing a false story for years, claiming she was raped five times. It was all for attention and sympathy—something to cover up the real story. She was actually featured with five different men in adult films,” Olunloyo alleged.
She went on to claim that Iyabo fled to Canada to avoid facing the consequences after allegedly admitting to wrongly accusing Naira Marley and Sam Larry of being involved in Mohbad’s death.
According to Olunloyo, Ojo reneged on a written apology as part of a resolution in the case and then left Nigeria.
“After admitting she defamed Naira Marley and Sam Larry in the Mohbad case, she refused to issue a formal apology and ran off to Canada. So, do you still believe the claims of five separate rape incidents?” she wrote, questioning the credibility of the actress’s past statements.
