Kanye West, a musician from the US, is suing an Instagram account for allegedly leaking his songs.
Kanye West has filed court filings recently in an effort to take legal action against anyone linked to the Instagram account @DaUnreleasedGod, according to TMZ.
The claim in the case is that these people shared a significant quantity of Kanye West’s unreleased music without his permission, which is considered an improper disclosure of his trade secrets.
According to the complaint, Kanye is not aware of the people in charge of the @DaUnreleasedGod account.
But he has a strong suspicion that these people had previously collaborated with him and had signed confidentiality agreements giving them access to these unreleased tracks.
He claims that the disclosure of this music violates these confidentiality agreements.
As soon as he learns who is responsible for the @DaUnreleasedGod account, Kanye West plans to update the filing with their names.
Kanye West claims that since March 2023, he has seen a total of 21 instances of his music being leaked via the Instagram account @DaUnreleasedGod.
In addition, the same handle was responsible for an additional 11 leaks.
Unreleased tracks from the “Donda” and “Jesus Is King” albums, Rihanna and will.i.am reference tunes, and possible chart-toppers with DJ Khaled and DaBaby are all included in these illegal disclosures.
